Vanilla Ice cream with almond slices and chocolate pieces

Just learnt how to make ice cream from a nice book. The book is bilingual, in english and chinese, ingredients are simple and instructions easy to follow. I managed to make 2 batches of delicious and healthy ice cream ( ok ice cream are sinful but at least there is no preservatives and colourings from commercial ones :P). Today I decide to make one more batch of ice cream, to finish up the big packet of whip cream I bought from Phoon Huat. The big packet of whip cream cost me $6 plus and I made 3 big boxes of ice cream. Really worth it, it's great for a party!

Ingredients
(A)
3 egg yolk
60g sugar
2 tsp vanilla essence
150g dairy whip cream or 100g fresh milk

(B)
250g Non-dairy whipped cream

(C)
Almond slices
Chocolate chips

Method
1)Mix A well and double boil till slightly thickens. Leave aside to cool.
2)Whipped up the non-dairy whipped cream till stiffen.
3)Add in mixture A and (C) into the stiffened cream. Mix well.
4)Pour into a box and freeze overnight.

NOTE: 1) The non-dairy whipped cream has to be whipped up at degree between 5 to 7.
2) Non-dairy whipped cream can be bought from phoon huat, just ask for assistance.
3) Leave the mixture overnight so it will harden, preferbly for 1 and half day so the consistuency will be thicker and harder.
